The Cirque Du Soleil OVO Royal Albert Hall

THE JOURNEY TO LONDON

At Sunday 1st Feb 2026, we left home at 8:40AM to MK Train station. This time we did not take Avanti, like we usually did, for there were many delays and the one which was going was full, so we took London North western Railway. We took a train 9:05AM and reached London Euston at 9:50AM. We took a Victoria Line Tube to Green Park and then we took a number 9 bus to Royal Albert Hall at around 10:30AM. However, the show, OVO, was meant to start at 11:30AM.

So we went to Caffé Nero, because Mai loves the coffee and I like the hot chocolate there. We couldn't find any nearby and so our walk took us to High Street Kensington. We decided to the High Street Kensington Metro, and luckily we found a Caffé Nero and a Pret next each other. We reached there at 10:50AM.I had a luxury Hot Chocolate and we finished at around 11:10AM. We went back to the Royal Albert Hall, just in time, 10 minutes before it would begin.

THE OVO PERFORMANCE

We went up to the steps to the top floor, Floor 3, in the Royal Albert Hall. I had a feeling this was insect related, when the flower stood like a building and grass was patching the back. The very fist characters were 2 bees and a Main character looking guy. The interval took some 15 minutes, including the 2 bees sitting on 2 high flowers. The whole show was 2 hours, though, and there were a lot of stuff, so I may have forgotten some. The first people who did athletics were ants, who were kicking a kiwi and made it spin with their fingers as well. After that, which was probably like 15 minutes, came the dragonflies. They went up high poles and let go and caught the bar at like the last second. Then they started going on each other and doing it. The other bits were ok. All I can say though is that it was very good.
